For weeks, strange sightings have been reported across Siagarta. Villagers speak of shadows moving where none should exist. Hunters have vanished without a trace. Entire roads have fallen silent overnight. Now we know why. Across the land, mysterious portals known as Rifts have begun tearing through reality itself, opening gateways to the cursed realm of Niflel. From within these fractures emerge twisted creatures known only as the Nightlings, an ancient force determined to reclaim the world for themselves.
On June 23, you’ll be among the first adventurers to face this growing threat as the Nightling Invasion Open Beta arrives on the new Public Beta Branch.
This is your chance to experience Farever’s largest world event yet, venture into the city of Ramburg, and help shape the future of the update before its official release.
A Darkness Spreads Across Siagarta
The invasion has already begun. Every few hours, a Rift will tear open somewhere in Siagarta, spilling Nightling forces into the world. As the alarm spreads, adventurers from across the region must gather together to push back the growing corruption before it overwhelms the land.
These massive world events support up to 16 players, challenging groups to survive escalating waves of enemies while battling powerful commanders known as Nightkings.
Each Rift grows more dangerous as the battle continues. New enemies emerge, strategies evolve, and the line between victory and defeat becomes increasingly thin. Fail, and the Nightlings strengthen their foothold.
Succeed, and you’ll drive the invasion back—at least for a little while.
Journey Into Ramburg
While the invasion rages beyond the city walls, another mystery awaits within Ramburg.
Rising high above the surrounding countryside, Ramburg is a city divided between faith, power, and fear. Its towering Cathedral dominates the skyline, watched over by the feared High Inquisitor Chakram, a figure whose influence stretches into every corner of the city.
As you explore Ramburg, you’ll encounter monks, soldiers, inquisitors, merchants, and citizens caught in a growing conflict. Hidden pathways weave through rooftops and alleyways while secrets long buried beneath the city begin to surface.
The deeper you venture, the more you will discover that the Nightling threat may not be the only danger lurking within Ramburg’s walls. Some evils are invited in.
Play It Early Beginning June 23
The Nightling Invasion Open Beta will be available through a dedicated Public Beta Branch on Steam.
This early testing period allows players to experience the new content before release while helping us refine the Rift events, balance encounters, and prepare Ramburg for its arrival on the live servers.
