Build Goal
This Necromancer build focuses on keeping enemies under constant condition pressure before finishing them with powerful Fear chains. Stay out of melee range, build Life Force safely, and use your unblockable marks and crowd control to pressure enemies from range.
Opening Pressure
Mark of Blood
→Chillblains
→Putrid Mark
→Feast of Corruption
Apply conditions first, then use Feast of Corruption once the target has several conditions for stronger burst damage.
Fear Chain
Doom
→Wail of Doom
→Reaper’s Mark
→Spectral Ring
Fear is one of this build’s strongest finishing tools. Chain your Fear skills together when a target is already pressured and ready to go down.
Priority Skills
- Feast of Corruption — Strong burst when the target has several conditions.
- Doom — Reliable Fear from Death Shroud.
- Wail of Doom — Unblockable crowd control from Warhorn.
- Reaper’s Mark — Unblockable Fear, control, and Life Force generation.
- Spectral Ring — Creates extra Fear pressure when enemies cross it.
- Chillblains — Strong condition pressure and combo field.
- Putrid Mark — Transfers conditions and works as a Blast finisher.
Survival
- Stay out of melee range whenever possible.
- Use terrain and positioning to make it harder for enemies to reach you.
- Enter Death Shroud to absorb pressure and transfer conditions.
- Use Spectral Walk before heavy condition pressure builds up.
- Place Summon Flesh Wurm before combat so you have an escape route.
- Save Consume Conditions as a last resort when other options are not enough.
Tips
- Do not stand on capture points unless you absolutely have to.
- Do not spam marks out of combat, because enemies can dodge them before the fight starts.
- Use Mark of Blood at entrances or under yourself to reveal possible stealth movement.
- Use Locust Swarm near enemies to help consume Blind before casting an important skill.
- Build Life Force with marks before committing to Death Shroud.
- Chain Fear skills together instead of using them one by one randomly.
