Build Goal

This Thief build focuses on using Axe/Pistol as the main damage set while relying on stealth, blinds, interrupts, and mobility to stay alive. Stack spinning axes with your Axe skills, then finish targets with Orchestrated Assault once you have 5-6 axes ready.

Use Black Powder and a dodge to enter Stealth, build your axe count, then land Orchestrated Assault as your finishing burst. This rotation gives damage, stealth, blind pressure, and initiative recovery.

Priority Skills

  • Orchestrated Assault — Your main finishing move. Use it with 5-6 axes whenever possible.
  • Venomous Volley — Strong axe setup skill that works best in close range.
  • Cunning Salvo — Key follow-up after stealth.
  • Spinning Axe — Builds axe stacks, even if it hits nothing.
  • Steal — Interrupts key skills, strips boons, restores initiative, and refills endurance.
  • Head Shot — Fast interrupt for important enemy casts.
  • Black Powder — Blind field and stealth setup tool.

Survival

  • Use Sword/Dagger as your defensive backup set when Axe/Pistol is unsafe.
  • Save Steal for important interrupts instead of opening fights with it.
  • Use Black Powder with dodge to stealth and reduce enemy pressure.
  • Use Shadowstep to escape pressure, break stun, or reposition.
  • Use Shadow Return to cleanse conditions and return to your original position.
  • Use Blinding Powder as a second stun break and stealth tool.
  • Use Dagger Storm as your panic button when focused.

Tips

  • Camp Axe/Pistol most of the time for your main pressure.
  • Use Sword/Dagger when you need defense or when enemies deny projectiles.
  • Do not waste Steal at the start of a fight.
  • Try to interrupt heals, elites, or important defensive skills with Steal.
  • Stack axes before using Orchestrated Assault for better burst damage.
  • Use Venomous Volley in melee range for maximum value.
  • Use Shadowstep and Shadow Return for safer stomps.
  • Remember that Dagger Storm can still be interrupted by certain effects.
