The latest Farever update, Patch v0.1.5 (v0.1.5.25921), has arrived, and while this patch focuses heavily on bug fixes, it also includes several quality-of-life improvements that players will notice immediately. Dungeon encounters have received stability updates, farming in certain areas has become easier, inventory limits have expanded, and multiple weapons and classes have had abilities corrected.
A lot of this patch is aimed at fixing frustrating issues that could interrupt gameplay, especially in dungeons where boss encounters occasionally behaved in unexpected ways.
Dungeon Fixes and Improvements
Dungeon content received some of the biggest changes in this patch.
One of the more frustrating problems involved bosses occasionally refusing to reset if every player died during a skill animation. That issue has now been fixed, preventing runs from becoming stuck.
The Ruins of Gorgon’s Hollow also received attention. Players were previously able to knock Golems into the void, essentially bypassing parts of encounters. That exploit has now been removed.
The Golcano fight also saw fixes. Previously, players could run into situations where Golcanito would fail to respawn if it was killed incorrectly before interrupting the fire shield mechanic. That problem has now been addressed, but Golcanitos themselves have become slightly more dangerous because their explosion radius has been increased.
Meanwhile, Cheese Station received multiple adjustments:
- Train systems now include safeguards to stop players from being knocked off while riding.
- Loot chests were moved back to their original location so players can still claim rewards after dying.
- Developers also confirmed that additional Cheese Station improvements are planned.
World Map Changes Make Farming Easier
Outside of dungeons, the world itself saw a number of changes focused on enemy spawning and activity balance.
Several world-map spawners were adjusted specifically to improve farming efficiency. Certain enemies now appear more frequently:
- Increased Crimson Ram Monk spawns
- Increased Crimson Beekeeper spawns in the Nescent area
- Added more Fire Golem and Fire Spark enemies throughout the Eksod region
- Increased Crimson Hound patrol numbers
Some activity areas also received balancing changes, including:
- Farmer’s Syndicate
- Empowered Coleslaw
The update also replaced some specialized variants of enemies like Agile Nepsid Runner and Educated Nepsid Wavemonger with more standard regional creatures.
Smaller environmental fixes were included as well:
- Terrain adjustments
- Liquid area improvements
- Minor graphical fixes
- Fixed underwater areas that somehow had no water
That last one probably created some strange moments for players exploring the world.
Huge Inventory Quality-of-Life Buff
One of the easiest improvements to appreciate may be inventory management.
Stack sizes for items previously capped at 200 have now been increased all the way up to 1000.
Bank storage also received an upgrade:
- Previous bank space: Unknown previous amount
- New bank space: 100 slots
For players gathering resources, crafting materials, or farming large amounts of loot, this should reduce constant inventory cleanup.
Weapon Fixes Across Multiple Builds
A large portion of the patch focused on weapons and their abilities.
General fixes included:
- Ranged weapon visual effects now properly appear during melee attacks.
- Final Combo Attacks should now correctly apply their intended effects.
Many specific weapons received fixes:
Flame of Argol
- Fixed healing issues with Flamie Rank 2
- Corrected missing visual effects
- Fixed incorrect status text
Clawdius
- Tide Rising Uppercut now properly triggers through class skills
Cheese Moon
- Bloodrage Aura now functions correctly while stored in an arsenal
Judgement
- Fixed Rampage animation loops preventing usage
Lady Bee’s Ceremonial Stinger
- Corrected damage calculations
- Fixed projectile range displays
- Fixed collision issues
Wingsabers
- Fixed repeated cooldown resets
- Corrected status displays
- Fixed unintended double-hit effects
Several additional weapons including Thornlace, Radiance, Ipheion, Star Blossom, Amon Ram, the Creator, and Gorgon Ratsay’s Toothpick also received fixes affecting damage, cooldowns, visual effects, and passive functionality.
For players using specialized builds, some abilities may now feel more consistent than before.
Class Updates
Classes also received a few adjustments.
Mage
Mages received a correction involving Spark Beam mastery interactions. The Lightning Infusion mastery was incorrectly increasing spark regeneration.
To compensate, spark regeneration outside combat has been increased.
Warrior
Warriors also had talent fixes:
- Crippling Bloodloss now properly reduces damage taken
- Hold the Line no longer incorrectly modifies damage values
Additional Fixes
Several smaller fixes were included throughout the game:
Gamepad
- Fixed activity tracking in map view
- Fixed weapon UI updates
- Fixed skill inspection during character creation
System
- Fixed day/night cycles becoming unsynchronized between players
- Fixed resource banking issues when banks were full
Miscellaneous
- Fixed the Minor Alchemist Cauldron crafting issue
- Pumpkins are now droppable
- Fixed the Eternal Flower Heart trinket bee issue
- Fixed achievement progression problems
- Fixed hidden cooldown timers affecting multiple consumables
