The world of Farever is about to get a lot bigger.
In a recent development update, the developers gave players their best look yet at the game’s first major content expansion. While the team continues to focus on performance improvements, bug fixes, stability, and optimization, they also confirmed that a massive content update is arriving at the end of the month.
The update will introduce an entirely new region, new dungeons, bosses, weapons, activities, and a higher level cap, making it the biggest addition to the game since Early Access began.
Welcome to Ramburg Citadel

The new area appears to be called Ramburg Citadel, home of the Crimson Ram Company.
From the screenshots released, the region has a very different feel compared to the areas currently available in Farever. Massive stone walls surround the city, towering castles dominate the skyline, and enormous statues stand guard throughout the streets.
The architecture gives off the feeling of a fortified kingdom preparing for war. Red banners hang from castle walls, giant armored statues line the roads, and a huge stone ram monument watches over the city gates.
Players can expect this region to be one of the largest and most visually impressive locations added to the game so far.
A New Boss Has Appeared

Alongside the reveal of the region came concept art for a brand-new boss known as Robin Hoof.
The character looks like a twisted take on the legendary Robin Hood. Sporting an eyepatch, a massive mustache, and a longbow, Robin Hoof appears to be a dangerous ranged opponent who likely rules or protects part of the Crimson Ram territory.
While the developers haven’t revealed any gameplay details yet, the bow-focused design strongly suggests players will need to deal with powerful ranged attacks, traps, or mobility mechanics during the encounter.
If the concept art is any indication, Robin Hoof could become one of the most memorable bosses currently planned for Farever.
Meet the Beeêh Keeper Companion

Another reveal came in the form of a new companion called the Beeêh Keeper.
This small ram-like creature appears to serve as a guardian for the Mastiff dogs found throughout Ramburg Citadel. The design features large curved horns, a decorative mask, and a crimson mane matching the colors of the Crimson Ram Company.
The developers also showed off a smaller “sibling” version of the creature, hinting there may be multiple variations of this companion roaming the new region.
Whether it becomes a collectible companion, pet, or quest-related creature remains unknown, but it’s already becoming a fan favorite thanks to its unique design.
More Than Just a New Zone

The new region is only part of what’s coming.
According to the developers, the first Major Update will include:
- A raised level cap
- New weapons
- New dungeons and instances
- New bosses
- Additional activities
- New progression opportunities
- More content that has yet to be revealed
This means players won’t simply be getting a new area to explore. The update appears to be expanding Farever’s entire endgame experience and giving veterans new goals to chase.
New Music for the Adventure Ahead
The development team also highlighted work being done on the game’s soundtrack.
A musical preview of the upcoming region was shared alongside the concept art, giving players an early taste of the atmosphere they can expect when entering Ramburg Citadel for the first time.
The music leans into the grand, adventurous feel of the region and suggests the developers are putting significant effort into making the new zone feel distinct from the rest of the game.

The Biggest Update Yet
While the full details are still being kept under wraps, one thing is clear: Farever’s first Major Update is shaping up to be the game’s most ambitious patch so far.
Between a brand-new region, a level cap increase, fresh weapons, new bosses, dungeons, activities, and a host of undisclosed surprises, players will soon have plenty of reasons to jump back into the world of Farever.
The update is currently scheduled to arrive toward the end of June, and if these early previews are anything to go by, Ramburg Citadel may become one of the most important destinations in the game.
As more information is revealed throughout the month, we’ll continue covering everything players need to know about Farever’s biggest content update yet.
